I have a 14x 32 ft greenhouse that is slowly getting too small. I have been in the process of expanding my growing are inside the greenhouse in several ways.
1. Go vertical. I have added welded wire mesh above my benches to grow some of my plants that like higher light. I grow my Vandaceous hybrids, my Encyclia species and my rothschildianum hybrids on them. It opened up a lot of room on my Bench tops. In my case higher light is going from 2 to 4000 ft. candles on bench top to 5 to 7000 ft. candles hanging on the welded wire.
2. I am starting to replace my static benches with a movable bench system this will give me more room by reducing my walk ways between the benches to one. By my calculations I will gain over 60 square feet of bench space. I am having a local machine shop build the benches for me, saves the shipping cost.
3. my greenhouse is like yours where the back wall is a wall. I am looking at putting shelves I can reach on the lower part of it and putting more welded wire up to hang plants on as I need to. Right now this is future stuff as the moveable benches will give the space I need for a couple of years growth.
My advice look at the ways others use their greenhouses and select the parts that sound like the will fit your budget and needs.

I grow in a 16'x18' greenhouse which uses my house as an 4th wall. I seem to grow orchids fairly well, but i grow a fantastic amount or algae even better. I wish to thank all those for their suggestions about getting rid of that green stuff.
Presently I am looking for creative ways to expand my growing space --short of building another greenhouse. I have tables, poles, and screens. Any other ideas? I do hope this question won't spur any more political attacks. It seems to take so little to do so.
