When this issue first was heard of years ago we looked into it. Were able to
actually read some of the research work. The main point was that the milk CUT
DOWN ON THE VIRUS infection, but did not actually keep it out of the plants
entirely. Not exactly what we are looking for with orchids. I vaguely remember
that the plants were tobacco. U of F people gave talks on the subject in
Florida. Keep drinking milk, good for your bones, but forget the sterilzing
with it!! LOL.
