"FOLLOW THE MONEY!  IF THEY CAN'T TELL ARTIFICIALLY PROPAGATED MATERIAL FROM
WILD COLLECTED THEY SHOULDN'T BE IN BUSINESS!"

What the EU delegates actually said was that "it was difficult to
differentiate artificially
propagated flowers from wild orchids".

There is this Farangi with a suitcase-full of Paphiopedilums at the customs
desk. All the plants have spent at least 18 months in a nursery. None are in
flower. The Farangi swears they're hybrids. The customs man can't tell if
he's looking at artificially-propagated hybrids rather than species plants
that were originally wild-collected.

Since you ARE in business, I assume you can tell the difference. What
foolproof system do you use ?
