Andre :

Odontoglossum crispum and its numerous formae and varieties are a most interesting subject.

I have been looking for photos of your particular clone (Odontoglossum crispum 'Lyoth Snowflake' x O. crispum 'Lyoth Snow Drop') but have not found any.

If interested, you might like to see photos of Odontoglossum crispum 'Lyoth Snowdrop' AM/RHS in
The Orchid Review - The 1986 RHS Awards, page 30
and
The Orchid Review - Vol. 94 No. 1114 - August 1986, page 280

I do not have these particular issues in my personal library.
Hopefully, you can have access to them or have a colleague scan the photos for you.

If I am not wrong, 'Lyoth' is a clonal name used by McBean's.

They have the following culture tips on their website :

http://www.mcbeansorchids.co.uk/growing_odontoglossum.htm

As your plant is probably originating from that nursery, they might be willing to help with photos or answer any further questions you may have about the proper ways to take care of it.

Best of luck with your plant and please let us know when it blooms.

Regards,

Viateur
