Rangaeris amaniensis is mentioned in the Isobyl and Eric La Croix book 'African Orchids in the Wild and in Cultivation' .Plant is found in Eritrea, Ethiopia,Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda & Zimbabwe. They appear to grow in two distinct habitats, montane forest and open woodland 1060-2600m altitude, intermediate temps,bright light and dryer period in winter.
Whoever was after the Hillerman and Holst book, I have just aquired one from Amazon, they did have another for sale at that time - 10 days ago.
