I won't jump in with my personal beliefs on the matter of creationism and evolutionism as it is just that to me- personal. However, I'd like to point out that "The DaVinci Code" is a NOVEL, very loosely based in truths. It was never meant to be taken as the truth.

Apart from the fact that this has nothing to do with orchids, making
the
whole discussion ridiculous, one would hope that most of you would have
read
"The da Vinci Code" and the accompanying book "Secrets of the Da Vinci
Code"
and learnt by now that nothing
that has been written in the Bible has
in
fact been said by Jesus verbatim. They are just stories compiled
hundreds of
years after Jesus had died.
So, don't quote either the OT or the NT as being the final source of
wisdom.
