Hello Iris,
  If it is that luedd. var. 'Dark Tiger' I'd be happy to have it ; )  All of
my lueddemannianas and close relatives flower under 2 shoplights, though it
is also in a windowsill so that there is some extra light from the *sun* (a
term used loosely around this neck of the woods...). They are in my 'heated'
stand, and the temperature is almost never below 65F. It could just be that
being a first-bloomer it was a little unsure of itself and wanted ot wait
until it grew up a bit. I put most of my plants right withing 2" of the
bulbs, and they suffer no ill-effects. Maybe you can just put it right under
the middle of the bulbs almost touching the tubes.

my phal sumatrana flowers I've decided smell an awful-lot like mushrooms.
Not exactly pleasant, but some people seem to like it. Phal celebensis
inflorescence is 27 inches long, and the buds are just now emerging. I think
30" is a safe bet
