Another one on Vol 5.
Masdevallia chaetostoma Luer was
first found living terestrially on the road embankment between Quito and
Chiriboga. It is also epiphytic, abundant in cloud forest of a
limited region on the western slopes of the province of Pichincha, Ecuador,
altitude bet. 2300-2500m. Belongs to subgenus Amanda
BTW I guess MBG has released the first 15 volumes
of Icones Pleurothallidinaurm on CD for only U$ 50,00 ( unfortunatelly
Masdevallia is not included in Vols. I-XV). A must have for any of us
who like and grow these little ones. Check it out.
