Does anyone have any experience using Karmex (diuron) for weed control in orchids? I am considering trying it, and would > like any info concerning rates to use, what genera can it be used with, any other info.

Karmex (Diuron) is an old herbicide that we used for soil applications 30+ years ago. I am surprised it is still available. It is usually used as a soil sterilant. It is liable to move around, especially in light soils, and kill plants at some distance from where you apply it. I cannot think of a use for it in the home or home garden. There is lots of info on the web. John Waddington
