We had presented a poster and a paper on Orchids with medicinal properties in Nepal in the year 2000 during Nepal-Japan symposium on Conservation and Utilization of Himalayan Medicinal Resources in Kathmandu. The full paper is in the proceedings of the symposium. At that time, 53 species of 34 genera were listed as having medicinal properties.
