It has been years since I used Di-Syston on orchids as a systemic insecticide and to be honest, I thought it was no longer available for use. We did notice some "clubbing" on phalaenopsis and cymbidium roots when the plants were treated on a regular basis. That, combined with a rapid appearance of resistant strains of mites, meant we did not use the chemical for longer than 18 months or so. I am talking about the mid-70's so it has been around a while.
