Martin, you would appear to have something similar to what I grew once for about eight years. The long gone and missed, Beall Company offered the hybrid between Bifrenaria harrisoniae and Lycaste skinneri as I recall. The plants were intermediate between the two parents but also were absolute mules and never even initiated an inflorescence in the years I grew them.
There are Lycasterias in Sanders but these were found on closer examination to be Angulocastes so the hybrid probably is a total mule. You may have the same problem with your plant.
