The title should read BC Ruby 'Rosetti' AM/RHS. The parentage is BC Mrs. J. Leemann X C. labiata (var. Peetersii) and it was registered by Flory and Black (later changed to Black and Flory) in 1918.

Wonder if someone with a more extensive orchid publication library than mine
could help me out?
Recently acquired a copy of American Orchid Culture by Edward A. White published in 1946. There is a color plate of a Cattleya hybrid labeled Brassocattleya Ruby Rosette. See picture at: http://www.sewingpalette.com/images/bcrubyrosette.jpg.
A grex name search at the RHS came up empty. Curious as to parentage.
