Who else would join our club?? There have been some legendarily stupid AOS
Presidents so their endorsement only carries the weight of the individual's
expertise rather than anything attached to the office. So many lies were
told about the dealings of the WOC Trust and I have all the correspondence
archived. It will stay suspect as long as it has two British members and is
not in any sense representative of the orchid world. Kenneth is friendly
with Henry Oakeley, in my experience a good man but of course I cannot speak
of his taxonomic ability in the genus Lycaste as this is not an area of
interest for me. I am sure he gets plenty of pressure from the Brits at
times but this forum is very fair to all points of view. Not like the new
Kumbayah-like AOS Forum which has been censored into near uselessness.
I also have friendly contacts with Henry Oakeley. He is an exception.
You are fully correct that as long
the two other Brits are on the WOC Trust, nothing will change. Cribb has
treatened to boycot all meetings
if I am invited to speak. In France of course it was even worse ad Cribb
is a close friend of the Dumonts
and Vinciane Dumont had one great objective: to sell her wine. The Group
around Dumont: Roguenant, Baruk,
harassed everyone who had any contact with me. And there were some other
thing that happened.
And No-one one the organising committees dares opposing the decisions of
Stewart and Cribb. ...
You know what Einstein said about human stupidity.
The amazing thing is that the Dragon Lady does not have the guts to
clear the issue with the
