Hello Tom,
We grow our plants (1 clone -> 2 divisions) in a similar environment like yours and they grow and flower well, if only now they would set seed (so far self pollinations haven't worked out yet)..... Temperature in the cool greenhouse: minimum 10-12 degrees Centigrade at night & 15 degrees Centigrade during the day, during summer anything a good Belgian summer wants to give as the windows are open day and night from May onwards to September/October. (a good Belgian summer could go up for a prolonged period to 30+ degrees Centigrade, but then it is a really good summer !) The 2 divisions are both grown in suspended wire basket and in the direct neighbourhood we have our Nanodes medusae (also suspended), Odontoglossums/Lemboglossums, cool growing Paphiopedilums and our favourite Cymbidiums like Cymb. elegans, hookerianum, etc kind regards, Kenneth. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bell-Games, Tom" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, June 15, 2005 6:35 PM Subject: [OGD] Maxillaria sanderiana I tried to post this question several months ago, but I don't think it ever made it onto the OGD. I have always thought Maxillaria sanderiana to be quite an impressive plant. Does anyone have suggestions for optimal growing conditions? I am growing this on the cool side, moist, in a fine bark mix, RO water, with as much humidity as I can muster. Any suggestions? Would like to hear from anyone that is growing this especially well.
