Remember Onc. "stacyi?" I'm sure the same thing has happened before & will happen again. Taxonomists have all the same failings as other humans, & occasionally succumb to them. The truth about suzukii will probably come out eventually. It may be a real species or natural hybrid, but as Peter says, there are an awful lot of coincidences. Since it has been validly published, for the present we should treat it politely.
