I think this list could use a little more interesting
discussion. Taxanomic intercourse and Dendrobiums
just aren't doing it for me.

So, to start this off right, I would like people to
help me identify the types of roots for paphs, their
structure, and their components. For example, are those
roots hair the pelotons of fungi, or are they normally
produced like that. And what information do you have
to back this up?
What about the mycorhizzal infestations which are
supposedly in young roots, but not older ones?
Are some of the roots aerial?
What about those with and without hair?
Why are roots from wild paphs more hirsute than those
from cultivation?
Why are there roots in flask, if the hair is supposedly
from fungus?
What function or chemicals do the fungi provide to the
roots?
