Thanks Jose and Steve for the info about Brieger (1981) and Rauschert (1983) taxonomic treatments regarding Dockrillia. I must re-read their work! Whilst there has been a man-made hybrid between Dendrobium lichenastrum and Dockrillia linguiformis, I don't believe that neither D. toressae or D. lichenastrum belong in Dockrillia. This view is also shared by Clements and Jones, and that is why those taxa were not included in their published (1997) "Checklist of Dockrillia" that appeared in 'The Orchadian'.
