[OGD] Dendrochilum filiforme

Please excuse me for sending this again, but the first post did not go through except for the header. 

I treated myself to one of these plants for my birthday this spring and am now enjoying it blooming.  How in the world do these delicate plants survive in the wild? 

My questions:  Where do they grow in the Phillipine forest so that they do not get damaged by wind?
What pollinates them?
