A friend asked me about a concern she has with a large, robust C. percivaliana. It has 5 or 6 new growths, the tips of which when about 1/3rd their normal height turn brown then black from the tip down. She snips off the tip and the growth seems to continue to grown normally, but of course the leaf is permanently disfigured. She says she's careful about not allowing water on the new growths. I've no clue - any ideas? Thanks, Jean
