Perhaps the name is coincidental, but some poor PhD by the name of Kenneth 
Wilson has mananaged to wrangle his name onto the list of AOS-approved 
taxonomic authorities.

But I'm personally too slothful and stupid to use a telephone to call and ask 
if he used to work at Purdue. I'm sure it would just be another coincidence
