Title: Taiwan the world's leading producer of orchids???
Sorry forgot about one small detail about the word producer.
Just my guess is that the republic of china will top all countries at
the leading "producer" of orchids in the world.
But hard data I don´t have just some information I put big question
marks at like this one:

( being offered $12.82 million for one orchid plant doesn´t really give
credit to the autor)
But it will be very logic by tradition and the law of large numbers of
the chinees that they have the largest market of orchids in the world.
But producing?

I don't know where you find this
orchid trivia but it is clearly incorrect. Undoubtedly The Netherlands
are the world's largest orchid producers, both by volume and Euro
value. Taiwan is possibly second but I suspect Japan would be ahead of
them still.
