There are some growing tips at the end of the article :
"O. iridifolia in a Chiengmai box with coconut husk, and O. ensiformis from the bottom of a regular pot, with the roots through the hole and packed in coconut husk. Suited to alternating dry and wet seasons, they are dormant in the winter and require very little moisture at that time ; they can endure temperatures down into the 40's."
Also, you will note that the photos of Oberonia species illustrating the article show plants either mounted or grown in a basket.
In her original post, Kathy asked - about O. setigera : "Would it prefer cooler temps?"
The article seems to favor cool growing conditions.
