"I am intrigued by the radiant floor system. Coming from Florida, I am
accustomed to running fans 24/7 in a slat house, so I am wondering about a
combination of floor heating with circulation fans.

But, the biggest question is the source of power. So, thanks in advance for any
further comments."

I was a Agri-Starts in Apopka, Florida a few years ago and took a tour of their
greenhouses. They use radiant heating in their huge structures to heat the
plants, but they have the piping running under the plants on top of the
benches, instead of in lthe floor. I was amazed at the enormity of the system,
and think it would be more efficient than in-floor piping.

As a heat source, they had a large boiler set up with computer controls to keep
the heat level where they want it. I have heard of water heaters being used in
smaller greenhouses as the heat source. I have wanted to try this system in my
greenhouse, but my bench arrangement will not allow it.
