Does anyone have an opinion on the relative efficacy of foggers (e.g. the Jaybird fans) versus overhead misting nozzles for maintaining humidity in a greenhouse?

I have a 4 x 30 ft Turner greenhouse (8 foot ceiling) with floor misters (the floor is small gravel) controlled by a humidistat in Northeast Georgia, USA.  Although humidity is painfully high April through September, it can be low for prolonged periods October through March.

Even with the floor misters running and internal fans running for circulation, the plants dry out very fast. I am considering some sort of overhead misting/fogging system contoled by an interval timer that would run several times a day for  a few minutes, especially in midafternoon when the humidity can drop to 40% relative.
