In answer to the photo Ident. #2 I believe it to be Brs. koehlerorum, see
Iclones Orchidacearum Peruiarum Plate #006. The main point being the 3 sets of
callus on the lip with them getting larger as they come forward splaying
outwards. The ends of the sepals look as if they are closed as per drawing.
The size also looks about right as is the colour. I notice that there hove
been pollinated and also an Ant on the spike, usually Wasps pollinate
brassia. Thy tend to be self sterile and need pollen from other Brassia plants
to carry seed.
