Mark, If it is any consolation, CO2 accumulation will lead to greater temperature and precipitation. Already the temperature in Alaska has gone up 3'F, so the glaciers are starting to melt. The more the glaciers melt, the more dark mountain they reveal, which causes them to melt faster due to absorbtion of sun energy. Canada will start to have better growing seasons, and the equator will get hotter. With the increased rain and heat, much of the prior temperate world will become an excellent breeding ground for mosquitos.
