"BRITISH ORCHID SUPPLIER SEEKING COOPERATIVE PARTNERS IN TAIWAN

Taipei... The chairman and CEO of a U.K.-based horticulture supplier made a
fact-finding visit... to the Orchid Biotechnology Park in the southern
county of Tainan to explore cooperation opportunities for orchid production.

... representatives from 16 firms based in the park met with David Sutton
to exchange views on orchid production and marketing in Taiwan and the U.K.

Taiwan is a world-famous orchid production base, while Europe is one of the
world's major orchid consumers, Sutton said, adding that British consumers'
demands for orchids have risen in recent years.

According to Sutton, annual sales of horticultural products in the U.K. hit
31 million pounds sterling (US$57.055 million), with butterfly orchids
making up the bulk.

Suttons has its own horticultural production facilities of around 14
hectares, with annual production value reaching 20 million pounds sterling."
