Greetings from Tallahassee, where we desperately need rain! I'm finishing up a 90 minute DVD of the best orchids I shot several major 2005 and 2006 orchid shows, along with some plants photographed at a few big orchid nurseries. All profits are going to a very important project that's under way to repopulate native species into the Everglades, so it's a very worthwhile cause. The video was shot in high definition, and though there is no HD delivery format right now for consumers (Blu-ray and HD-DVD are almost here), the richness of the colors and overall image quality is far better than anything you'd see using a standard definition camera and it's easy to see in the finished DVD. They're just $19 each plus $3 shipping ($5.50 overseas). Each DVD is individually numbered and signed and I'm limiting this to just 250 copies, with no more than three copies per person. The discs will ship September 1st.
Contact me offline for additional info. I'll accept checks, money orders and Paypal. Send us rain! And thanks, Jim _______________________________________________ the OrchidGuide Digest (OGD) [email protected] http://orchidguide.com/mailman/listinfo/orchids_orchidguide.com
