The genus Gongora has been reworked and has been corrected and split into subgenera. It is almost a complete genus, missing only 18 species [of these 13 have been described only in the last 5 years, the other 5 are varieties of old species that have been given species status]  for a total of  65 species. Most of the photos are very large making it easy to see the differences in the flowers. Check it out
