The Illinois Orchid
Society will present its annual fall show October 14-15, 2006, at Chicago Botanic Garden,
1000 Lake-Cook Road, Glencoe, Illinois,
just north of Chicago.
We have 20 vendors booked, and will also feature our expert repotting service,
raffle, speakers, and member plant sales. The Regenstein Education
Center has just undergone
a complete, year-long rehabilitation, and is a more elegant setting for our
show than ever before. The show will be open from 10 am to 5pm both Saturday
and Sunday, with a special hour from 9 to 10 on Sunday for photographers, with
tripods allowed. There is no admission to the show – donations are
always welcome. Chicago
Botanic Garden requires a
parking fee, or membership, or affiliated garden membership. AOS
qualifies, along with many other botanic gardens. Please join us at this
lovely location, and enjoy the beautiful orchids our vendors and exhibitors
