The Orchid Society of Papua New Guinea would like to announce the launch of their new book "Spatulata Orchids Papua New Guinea" authored by Justin Tkatchenko and Steven Kami.
The foreword has been kindly provided by Phil Spence ,the preface by Wayne Harris and the book has been vetted by Dr Geoff Stocker and Doctor Kiat Tan It covers all recognised species of the Section found in Papua New Guinea and includes the most recent addition being D augusticaule P.Spence. All the species have colour photos which have not been published before. There are also photos of different colour variants of the various species and natural hybrids also. It is A4 size perfect bound in a soft cover and 96 pages long and has a section on plant culture and diseases Books will be available in Australia via orchidaceous books. A print run of 5 000 books has been completed. Any interested people please contact me.
