Absolutely amazing. I found a small block, 3.23 lbs at Safeway, a chain of
grocery stores in the western United States, at $1.19 per lb. Called the
local ice specialists in Prescott, AZ (2 of them), and they both refered me
to the grocery store. Picked up a very small foam cooler from the store at
the same time, and am expecting the poor insulation value of the thin foam
to provide a moderate boil-off rate. Will know how well this works when I
see how long the block lasts. Have just ordered a replacement fan motor for
the burnt out fan that will be blowing directly into the area where the
cooler sits, just to make sure the gas gets into the air and doesn't
accumulate on the greenhouse floor. Cynthia
