Dear ODG members What would the evolutionary advantage be for an orchid shedding ripe seed which are green in colour?
Does this mean that the seed is not entirely dependant on a fungus to germinate (because it already has some chlorophyll to start photosynthesising)? Regards Frikkie Marais South Africa
