Some time ago, there was chain of comments about the use of Horse Manure for Orchid use. I have lost those references and would like to have an update for that use. I have a good source of the manure available, but am not sure whether to use raw (new nuggets) or well rotted. I recall that the advice was to fill the pot 1/3 full and then the normal mix on top.
