So let's keep this going maybe something can come of it. I firmly believe that we are not being negative about the AOS as there is a long history of wonderful service. Unfortunately the mission has been subverted into an all to familiar direction with organizations such as this. We aren't able to get these ideas out in any other venue, but hopefully our efforts will be transferred to someone who can have an impact. As Andy stated a small group has hijacked the AOS and is attempting to restructure it into their own vision of what will best serve the community. A free, open, and honest discussion is what is needed and not some highly structured, over controlled little tea party. About two years ago there was a letter to the editor making most of the same comments we have brought up. I wrote to this person stating my total agreement. His response stated that he had over 50 replies, not one of which was negative. Obviously were not alone.
