Kathy, One of my pet hates is judges who talk about Den. "thrysiflorum" and the second is people who say "Bromelaids"!! Maybe just a typo in your case.
There is absolutely no problem with the AOS receiving a small remuneration from their endorsed material and all this was checked out. There is indeed a committee that looked into the whole endorsement issue and I think the current President was in charge of it. He is a very commercially savvy individual so I am sure it is well set up and thought through.
