I repotted a druryi for a friend last year which is in fact quite
stoloniferous, creating something of a difficult repot in an attempt to
keep as much of the plant together as possible. In fact, it reminded me
of an old Phrag.besseae in its growth habit. A friend in Chicago lays
his besseaes down sideways in bonsai trays and pins them down, with
great success. I did something similar with the druryi as regular
potting required a choice of whether to bury most of the plant (which
would have caused it to rot) or have most of it not in the mix at all
(which would of course eventually lead to plant death as the newer
growths out of the mix would not grow roots).
