I looked up Lycaste niesseniae in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew: World Checklist of Selected Plant Families. The response from Kew: "Your search returned no results, please refine your search criteria." I tried the same procedure with Lycaste aromatica and was rewarded with retrieved records. What is the status of Lycaste niesseniae? Is the species name under review? Has it been rejected? What is the accepted name at this time, including varietal name if applicable?
