I remember that Shiseido has also sponsored several of the New York (GNYOS)
shows, hosting a cocktail reception and gift bags with samples of their
orchid-based perfumes to judges and others in the evening right after judging.
At least this was the case for two shows I judged when it was still downtown,
in the World Financial Center (pre-9/11). One of the cymbidium-based perfumes
was Tentatrice, and I recall that it was unavailable in the US.

There is a perfume from Yves Rocher supposedly based on Sobralia flowers,
called Neblina, named for Pico de Neblina, the highest mountain in ___. Note,
however, that there were three different Neblina perfumes: L'Esprit de Neblina
(The Spirit of Neblina), along with The Night of Neblina and The Dawn of
Neblina.
Neblina is said to contain "top notes of Eriopsis biloba (orange orchid with
apricot) and Maguireothamnus speciosus (a transparent green jasmine). The heart
has notes of Sobralia (violet and yellow orchid with white flower) and humid
rock. Base notes include herbs, moss, roots and wood." The fragrance was
created in 1999 by perfumer Sophia Grojsman.
