I ever grown it both mounted and pot, new growth is go
upward, I guess that it will growth upward in the wild
as I ever see wild colleted plant (seed pod is
downward)

===================================
When I've seen Den. trantuanii (aka D. tuananii)
growing mounted in
cultivation, people mostly orient the old growths
downward, but it
seems to me the new
canes are never pendant - does anyknow how it grows in
the wild?

And while I'm at it, let me also ask if it's one of
those plants that
really
"needs" to be mounted, or whether it grows well in
pots, too?  Thanks.

Mike
