I have several Neofinetia falcata plants, including an Amami Island form, and what I might call a "normal" form. My "normal" Neofinetia came from Jones & Scully about 1987, and its growths and flowers pretty much represent all the Neofinetias I had seen in the 70's and 80's...leaf-span of the fan is about four inches, the natural spread of the flower (sans nectary) is 5/8 inch tall by 3/8 inch, and a nectary of about two and a quarter inches. My Amami Island form is currently in bloom. The leafspan of the fan is just about eight inches, the flower measures one inch tall by 5/8, and the nectary is over three inches long. So, its just about twice the size. It has a slight pink tinge to some of the flower segments. Here is a link to some photos I posted recently of the Amami Island plant:
