I have seen a plant like yours in collections in South Africa usually unnamed but also with the name of a place but off hand (and I am not at home to check) I cannot remember what the name is but think it is something like one of the islands in the east Indies (e.g. celebensis). Looking at your photos it would appear that your plant's flowers have : (a) column arms thta arise from the middle of the column (b) oblong side lobes ot the lip (c) two lamellae (ridges) that run the length og the mid lobe of the lip and extend towards the apex of the lip (d) a veruccose (warty) flower spike. I mention these observations from the photos because they may be helpful in identifying your plant some day. I would check them out and confirm. I also mention them so that when I get home and download the next OGD I will know what your plant looked like :-) Good luck. I look forward to hearing from others on the oGD have to say so that I can check what my plant (unnamed and looks like yours) is called. Keep well and kind regards Mike _______________________________________________ the OrchidGuide Digest (OGD) [email protected] http://orchidguide.com/mailman/listinfo/orchids_orchidguide.com
