Nicolas -- Careful with the hanging heater!. When we extended our deck with
"plastic" flooring to build my 16 x 20 ft greenhouse, my husband sized the
heater based on the recommendations of the propane company. We realized, on
the very first cold night, that we had been sold much more heater than we
needed. We had set up the heater as the primary heat source, with a small
Southern Burner ventless heater as backup if the big one failed. We also
installed two large overhead ceiling fans which initially blew the air down on
the plants. When the big heater kicked in for the first time it literally
fried my hanging baskets. We have since had the propane company cut the
orifice on the big heater back as far as possible, and we've made the smaller
heater the primary. We've also reversed the ceiling fans. This has not really
solved the problem because I have an entire wall dedicated to mounted material
and I have to keep the plants below a certain level or they continue to get
scorched. We're trying to figure out how to move the heater and place it under
the benches, but are concerned about placing it directly onto the decking
material. Also, now that I've filled the greenhouse, moving the heater will be
a Herculean project.

Cuidado!
