An orchid house was put up which will serve as a rescue center for Philippine species from development sites, logging areas and natural calamities. The rescued species can then be cultivated and multiplied and then eventually sold. Experts from the POS are providing training to the settlers so that they will know how to take care and propagate the orchids."
