Oliver Sadly yes. Do they have a strong sweet smell or not? If they do, then it's normally Erwinia, a bacterial infection, which spreads fast and, in my experience, can be difficult to stop. David

They emerge green and then develop watery blotches, which go brown and scarious. I have drenched with crown ethers (physan equivalent) and there seems some resposne to fungicides, but a magic bullet would be helpful. ______________________________ Oliver Sparrow +44 (0)1628 823187 www.chforum.org _______________________________________________ the OrchidGuide Digest (OGD) [email protected] http://orchidguide.com/mailman/listinfo/orchids_orchidguide.com
