Sadly yes. Do they have a strong sweet smell or not? If they do, then it's
normally Erwinia, a bacterial infection, which spreads fast and, in my
experience, can be difficult to stop.

Does anyone have experience of necrotic spots on Paph leaves? They emerge
green and then develop watery blotches, which go brown and scarious. I have
drenched with crown ethers (physan equivalent) and there seems some resposne
to fungicides, but a magic bullet would be helpful.
