I know Erwinia and its battlefield odour. (Those that don't, thing rotten popato. It's E. carrotevora, the carrot eater.) That is a straightforward bacterium to kill, given modern disinfectant detergents. This looks as though someone has spotted the leaves with acid. I am wondering about Phytophthora, which is prevalent at this time of year in the public water supply. ______________________________ Oliver Sparrow +44 (0)1628 823187 www.chforum.org _______________________________________________ the OrchidGuide Digest (OGD) [email protected] http://orchidguide.com/mailman/listinfo/orchids_orchidguide.com
