There are a few Goodyera in North America, possibly some in Central or South America depending if some follow the Rocky Mountaina South into these regions. I know in general of Goodyeras repens, pubescens, tesselata, oblongifolia and a few varieties. Three grow in New York State alone. I did quick search for goodyera in central and south america but didn't find any hits. charles -- charles ufford oriskany, ny usa _______________________________________________ the OrchidGuide Digest (OGD) [email protected] http://orchidguide.com/mailman/listinfo/orchids_orchidguide.com
