Hi all. Does anyone have definitive info on boiling pots to sterilize them? I
am interested in both viral protection, and particularly fusarium spore
elimination, as I go thru about 400 to 500 plastic pots per year, and would
like to give these away to others that don't have the luxury of buying pots by
the case in 1/2 inch increments. They seen to survive the boiling process just
fine. My concern is that I don't want to be exporting my fusarium problem to
novices who will likely not recognize the symptoms or have the where-with-all
to go out and buy the necessary chemicals to handle the problem.

Soaking in 10% bleach works I suppose, but the last time I did this, I ruined
some very nice clothing (from a little puddle left on the sink), and can't seem
to do it without getting the bleach on something not planned. With boiling, I
could move a great many pots thru the process and may want to reuse these pots
myself.

Thanks, Cynthia, Prescott, AZ
