I would love to be able to grow these magnificent plants but I live in Gainesville Florida and our summers can be quite brutally HOT. I have had good luck with primary hybrids that have a cool parent and a warm or temperate parent especially in the Oncidinae. Are there any Lycastes that will tolerate our climate? Any primary hybrids that anyone can suggest? Thank you very much!
